Miss Eligibility

  • Single female at least 17 years of age and a senior in high school, but not older than 25 on December 31st of the year before her competition at Miss America

  • A resident for at least six (6) months, work full-time or attend school full-time in Grays Harbor County

  • Never been married, not pregnant nor a parent

  • Be a U.S. citizen

  • Want to earn scholarship dollars for college education

  • Have a talent such as music, vocal, drama, dance or artistic expression

  • Have a platform or cause to promote

  • Meet character requirements as set forth by the Miss America Organization

  • Promote and raise $250 for the Miss America Foundation a week before the Miss Grays Harbor competition

  • Able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities required for both competing for and holding the title of Miss Grays Harbor

Teen Eligibility

  • A single female, no younger than 13 years old and no older than 17 years old at the time of Miss Grays Harbor Outstanding Teen

  • If 17, you must not be a graduating senior (that means you are eligible for the Miss program instead)

  • Be a U.S. citizen

  • Never been married, not pregnant nor a parent

  • Have a talent such as music, vocal, drama, dance or artistic expression

  • Have a community issue or cause to promote

  • Able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities required for both competing for and holding the title of Miss Grays Harbor’s Outstanding Teen
